How Our Garden Grows
Our plants grew over time due to photosynthesis. The plant was being watered and was receiving the carbon dioxide it needed to proceed with it's growth through the air. Also, the sun's energy put towards out plant was producing a reaction to create glucose, oxygen, and sugar. This process soon leads up to another process called cellular respiration. In cellular respiration, the sugar and oxygen are creating usable energy by changing it into water and carbon dioxide. The mitosis in the plants will cause the plants to get bigger because the cells will replicate by copying all of the contents of the cell finally creating two new daughter cells.
